The short answer, thank God, NO, as I myself am of Scottish/Irish descent, not Hebrew. Every fringe group wants to frame Jesus as being a racist in some form or another, from “Jews for Jesus” to “Christian Identity”, but the fact is that although he did acknowledge that his people were Hebrews, he did not restrict his salvation only to them.
The go-to incident for this occurred in Matthew 15:
Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon. 22And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. 23But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. 24But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 25Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. 26But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs. 27And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table. 28Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
Theologists agree that the reference to her as a dog was not meant to belittle her, but rather denote her as part of the household, but not the family, yet he still granted her wish simply based on her faith. Jesus knew he was of the “root of Jesse”… as all humans come from some ancestor, but in Gods eyes, we are all the same. Its humans that establish cultural differences, based on where we are born, and they are generally race based because of location. God split us up for a reason though, perhaps he’s hoping to see us all come together WITH him, instead of against.
Genesis 11
And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. 2And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there. 3And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter. 4And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. 5And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. 6And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. 7Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. 8So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. 9Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
